this week we did a shape Scavenger hunt. first had to find the maori name of the shape and the English name.Next we had to work out how many sides and angles the shapes had.then we had to take photos of objects that look similar to the shapes on the picture.it was very fun and challenging but we couldn’t find photo of a Pentagon but that was OK.

science fair

the science fair was challenging because I was sick and I couldn’t go to school and if I did go to school I think I would probably get everyone sick.I missed a lot on every thing for a week! I couldn’t do anything but just lay there on my couch sick.when it was Monday I was feeling a lot better I could finally go to school but I mist stuff that they did I missed out on the tennis ball project that sounded so cool but I mist out on it and I also missed out on making a poster with my buddy’s Charlotte and Georgia so they to do all the work.

penguins

  Penguins

Penguins are warm-blooded, flightless, aquatic birds.

They have black and white bodies, orange webbed feet and have orange or blackish-gray beaks.

Penguins live around Antarctica, New Zealand, Africa, South America, and Australia. They live in forests, shores, beaches & the Southern Hemisphere.

Penguins are exceptional swimmers & divers. Their blubber helps keep the penguins warm in the cold water. Their feathers are woven together to keep the water out as if their feathers were waterproof.

Penguins waddle side by side, hop & slide on their stomach.

Penguins eat fish, squid and other sea creatures.

Penguins swim in the water to catch their prey but also have to be careful of predators like killer whales and leopard seals.

Mother penguins go out into the water and catch food while the father penguins look after the eggs or chicks from predators like ferrets and other predators that steal chicks and eggs.

Action Station 2024

In the last 3 weeks we did dance with tale for action station. We did hip-hop -7 rings and heel & toe/polka.

The hardest dance was probably heel & toe because when you go to a new budy you chain your arms together with your budy and swap with a new budy it was very confusing.

Even hip-hop was hard too,but it was so fun though.

My Artwork

Today we did Ben Heine art. Today I created/drawn four creatures in this drawing. These creatures were type of fish from my imagination. It took time drawing it but it was fun. I hope you like it.

Action Station Softball

In the last few weeks we played softball for action station.I think playing softball is really fun because it’s a fun, active and challenging.

In softball I learnt how to play the game I only picked softball because I thought it would be really fun and I thought it’s new I should do.

I really enjoyed softball because we got to play really fun games.

The most challenging bit in softball was running around and trying to get to home.

My favorite bit in softball was playing the game because it was really fun and challenging.

I think we should do softball next term because I want to do it again and I want to give other people a chance to play so they know how fun softball is.

NZ birds

Today we did a kahoot we had to answer about 20 questions.I learnt that the kākāpō was the heaviest parrot and I also learnt ruru  could live for 11 years.
